Civil society organisations and their cooperation with communities were discussed during the project study visit in Eger/Noszvaj (Hungary) on 4–6 March 2025. Project partners had an opportunity to explore various social, economic, and cultural aspects of the visited locations in Hungary. Partners visited among others Hungarian Roma Association of Szomolya, Eger Community Foundation, Farkaskő Association in Noszvaj as well as got familiar with the Carpathian Civil Society Platform developed within Central Mountains project.
Key topics of the study visit included:
- Social Inclusion and Community Engagement,
- Civil Society Development,
- Cultural Heritage and Environmental Education,
- Cross-Border Cooperation and Regional Development.
The experiences and best practices observed during the visit will contribute to the development of joint strategies and solutions. Lessons on inclusive community development and cross-sectoral cooperation will improve future project partners activities and could influence governance policies.
During the visit, PPs also worked on linking pilot activities and future solutions through joint session organized by project partners: CIPRA, ISIG and EURAC as well as gain more insight into the impact, challenges, and struggles related to the solutions.
