Project overview

CROSS-border INnovation for Smart Automation in Automotive Production & Mobility

Many automotive and mobility SMEs in central Europe’s border regions are under pressure to modernise production, yet lack transformation strategies, skilled staff and access to testing and support. CROSS-IN adapts tools from five earlier Interreg projects to help them introduce automation that improves productivity while keeping people and skills at the centre. An upgraded readiness index will identify gaps and guide training, expert exchanges and cross-border tests in companies. The results will feed into a joint action plan and an open platform for continued industry, research and policy cooperation.
