Strengthening the Capacity-Building Pathway
A key focus of the meeting was simplifying the project’s online training framework. Led by Italian partner CREA-VE, existing courses on Precision Farming Basics and Precision Viticulture are being reorganized into a streamlined, two-module learning pathway.
This upgraded curriculum will directly feed into the upcoming Summer School and entrepreneurship activities, covering vital topics such as:
- Sustainable water management
- Renewable energy in agriculture
- Digital tools and climate adaptation
Fostering Active Youth Participation Across Regions
To ensure high-impact engagement, partners agreed on an extensive capacity-building roadmap totaling approximately 125 hours of learning, mentoring, and practical activities per participant. Key elements discussed include:
- Targeted Recruitment: Initial onboarding of 10 young participants per territory, with plans to expand by an additional 5 participants per region in later project phases.
- Youth Ambassadors & Forum: Continuous participation of Youth Ambassadors (engaging at least twice monthly) and the early establishment of a cross-border Youth Forum designed to give young stakeholders a voice in shaping project outcomes.
- Interactive Formats: A balanced mix of round-table discussions, mentoring, youth camps, and local pilot activities (including a specialized pilot led by the Kraków region).
Through these coordinated efforts, Youth4Agri continues to build a strong cross-border framework that equips young rural entrepreneurs and farmers with the tools, knowledge, and network needed to drive sustainable transition in modern agriculture.
Stay tuned for further updates as module mapping and youth recruitment launch in the coming weeks.
