A thematic workshop on city adaptation to climate change, heat islands and their impact on biodiversity took place in the beautiful and inclusive city library of Kranj as part of the URBIO BAUHAUS project. An initial presentation of 3 interlinked Interreg projects included also an interesting Quiz which tested the knowledge of students on the wider thematic of CC.
Over 20 students of Gimnazija Kranj and their tutor were afterward divided into three tematic working groups regarding co-creation of new green-blue solutions in the City of Kranj.
Current & future status and quality of biodiversity spots in the City of Kranj were mapped and described on a URBIO BAUHAUS map 
Some fresh design proposals for the future green and blue solutions enhancing biodiversity in the old town were seen.
