In conversations with companies, several topics often come up. On the one hand, there are hard technical skills. On the other, there are competences that determine whether a person can really find their place in a manufacturing environment.
In INNOSKILLS-CE, we look for skills gaps in areas such as:
- operating and understanding the logic of machines, automation and basic robotics
- reading technical documentation, working with data and using digital tools
- occupational safety and proper behaviour in a production environment
- problem-solving and responding to failures or disruptions
- teamwork and communication on the shop floor, also between different departments
These findings will later become the basis for designing training solutions and practical scenarios that reflect real workplace needs.
