Carbon Farming CE developed training material for farmers to support practical understanding and implementation of carbon farming across central Europe.
Developed through cooperation between project partners from nine countries and with input from farmers gathered through national workshops, the material presents:
- seven carbon farming techniques;
- 12 best-practice examples;
- environmental and economic aspects of carbon farming; and
- practical considerations and challenges related to implementation.
The material translates project knowledge into accessible information that can help farmers, agricultural advisors and other practitioners better understand different carbon farming approaches and consider their application under different farming conditions.
