The Veneto Region, together with iiSBE Italia R&D, successfully hosted the second Italian SuPeRBE Training Workshop on 1 December 2025 in Venice.
The event took place at the Sala Polifunzionale del Palazzo della Regione and was attended by around 50 participants on-site and nearly 150 online, demonstrating the growing interest in climate change adaptation for buildings and urban areas.
The workshop was designed to strengthen participants’ understanding of climate risks and introduce the SuPeRBE tools and methodologies for risk assessment at both the urban and building scale.

- Introduction to the SuPeRBE project and regional objectives
- The SuPeRBE Training System and the e-learning platform
- Climate risk assessment methodologies (RBE, RBTool, RNTool)
- Regional RBTool and RNTool applications, including the Veneto case study in Abano Terme
- Participatory approaches for developing assessment systems
- Examples of risk categories at the neighborhood scale
- The SuPeRBE framework for climate adaptation and its integration into urban planning
The event brought together municipal representatives, technical coordinators, architects, engineers, planners, students, and professionals interested in building resilient territories.
