How can schools and kindergartens waste less food and work more sustainably? These were the key questions at a conference hosted by the Municipality of Wrocław, dedicated to the foodCIRCUS project.
The event brought together local authorities, educators, researchers and food service providers to share experiences and explore practical solutions for reducing food waste in educational institutions.
One of the speakers was Dr Karolina Sobieraj from the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences (UPWr) our Polish partner and food waste specialist. She shared early insights from foodCIRCUS activities and highlighted opportunities to introduce circular practices at the local level.
The event was documented and shared publicly by wroclaw.pl — thank you for helping bring these ideas to a wider audience!
Reducing food waste starts with collaboration. Thanks to the commitment of our Polish partners, foodCIRCUS is turning ideas into action right where it matters most.
