Organised by the Energy Institute Hrvoje Požar in cooperation with the City of Šibenik, the event was hosted at the University of Zagreb – Study of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, which also invited its students to participate. The workshop was held in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and online participation.
The training, titled “Prilagodba zgrada i gradova klimatskim promjenama” (“Adapting Buildings and Cities to Climate Change”), introduced participants to the climate change issues as well as SuPeRBE methodologies and tools for managing climate adaptation processes at both building and urban scales. Topics included:
- The relationship between climate change and the built environment
- The SuPeRBE e-learning system and RBE Assessment System
- The Decision-making model for climate adaptation
The event is an important part of the SuPeRBE training series, which aims to improve regional capacities for climate-resilient building and urban development. The second workshop is already in the planning and will be announced soon.
