On 11 May, Energy Institute Hrvoje Požar and the City of Šibenik jointly organised an online workshop titled Applying the SuPeRBE Tools for Local Risk Assessment. The event brought together representatives of local administrations, public authorities, and experts working in the fields of resilience, urban planning, energy, and risk assessment, creating a valuable space for knowledge exchange and discussion on local resilience challenges.
During the workshop, participants had the opportunity to gain deeper insight into the RBTool and RNTool, two key solutions developed as part of the SuPeRBE project to support local authorities and stakeholders in identifying and assessing risks related to the built environment and urban resilience. The session also showcased the practical implementation of these tools through the Šibenik case study, demonstrating how local data and analysis can support more informed decision-making and sustainable urban planning.
The workshop represented the first step in the broader SuPeRBE training system, designed to provide continuous learning opportunities for professionals and stakeholders involved in resilience and energy transition planning. Participants are encouraged to continue their learning journey through the European Skills Registry platform (https://skillsregistry.eu/my-feed), where additional courses and training materials related to the SuPeRBE project are available.
By combining practical demonstrations, expert knowledge, and access to further educational resources, the workshop contributed to strengthening local competencies and supporting the wider adoption of resilience-focused tools and methodologies across Central Europe.
