During the forum, one day was devoted to the implementation of modern solutions for the district heating sector, and in particular to the hybrid heat distribution units developed by MPEC.
The following topics were discussed:
· the potential for utilising waste heat from the AGH Academy of Science and Technology server room in Kraków,
· the use of PC technology in conjunction with the district heating network,
· supporting the energy balance of district heating networks through photovoltaics.
The event brought together a wide range of experts and stakeholders from Poland and abroad, including representatives of:
· district heating companies,
· housing cooperatives,
· Kraków City Council and the Marshal’s Office,
· the academic community, including the AGH Academy of Science and Technology, the Kraków University of Technology and the Polish Academy of Sciences,
· heat producers,
· technology companies, including partners from Scandinavia.
The meeting provided a forum for the exchange of experiences between representatives of the district heating sector, the academic community, public administration and technology suppliers.
