Last week, the Local Action Group (LAG) for the Šibenik pilot gathered to discuss the next steps in the implementation of activities within the SuPeRBE project. The meeting brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including representatives of regional and local administrations, academia, neighbourhood representatives, and members of the Chamber of Architects, reflecting the collaborative and multidisciplinary approach of the project.

During the meeting, project partners Energy Institute Hrvoje Požar and the City of Šibenik presented the progress achieved so far within the Šibenik pilot, alongside the key challenges encountered during implementation. Particular attention was given to issues related to the availability and accessibility of data at the building level, which remains one of the main challenges for conducting detailed local risk assessments and resilience planning.

The discussion enabled LAG members to exchange perspectives and provide valuable feedback based on their professional and local experience. Despite the identified challenges, participants concluded that the pilot activities are progressing in a positive direction and represent an important step towards improving local resilience and supporting evidence-based urban planning.

The meeting once again highlighted the importance of cooperation between public authorities, experts, local communities, and academic institutions in developing effective and sustainable solutions for resilient urban environments.
