The event brought together representatives of the Municipality of Maribor, the University of Maribor, companies from the pedestrian zone, logistics operators, and other key stakeholders. The concept of a pilot solution was presented – a micro-consolidation point with different delivery trolleys for last-mile delivery in the pedestrian zone of Maribor.
The discussion was highly constructive, with participants sharing experiences and highlighting the benefits of the pilot solution for their businesses. During the project, the use of the consolidation point will be free of charge and available to business users. In the future, based on identified needs, the network could be extended to other areas around the pedestrian zone.
