As part of the Naše pole 2025 event in Nabočany, a roundtable discussion took place focused on the Carbon Farming CE project. The discussion, led by Ing. Jakub Prudil and Bc. Štěpán Krejčí, explored both the practical potential of applying the proposed business model and the core principles of carbon farming itself, including specific techniques and approaches the project brings into today’s agricultural practice.
The program also included an interactive exchange of views among participants through so-called breakout groups, where smaller groups discussed selected topics in greater depth. Participants were also asked to complete a questionnaire to help us better understand how the potential of carbon farming is perceived within the Czech agricultural context.
The open and constructive discussion resulted in a number of insightful conclusions and recommendations, which will be used in the ongoing development of the project.
The event brought together a broad range of stakeholders – from representatives of public institutions and carbon credit trading companies, to agricultural advisors, farmers, researchers, and academics.
