On April 22, in celebration of Earth Day, the Boschetto Park in Nichelino was officially inaugurated in its renewed configuration, following a redevelopment carried out within the CICADA4CE project. The event was organized by the Municipality of Nichelino with the support of the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Turin (DISAFA), that contributed to the design and implementation of the solutions.
The park, identified as a soft pilot of the project, has undergone the transformation of approximately 6,700 square meters into a space dedicated to tackling the climate crisis, through the integration of nature-based solutions and sustainability-oriented interventions.
The renewed Boschetto Park thus serves as an open-air laboratory to test innovative climate adaptation strategies, in line with the objectives of the CICADA4CE project
