The 3rd Transnational Project Meeting of the REDU-CE-D project was successfully held on March 11, 2025, in Budapest, hosted by the Municipality of Krakow (Transport Authority). This gathering provided a crucial opportunity for project partners to assess progress, discuss ongoing activities, and define the next steps in promoting energy transition in the transportation sector across Central Europe.

The meeting began with a general overview of project implementation, including the status of completed activities, upcoming deliverables, and key deadlines. Partners engaged in discussions regarding the development and implementation of Environmental Management System (EMS) support packages, focusing on their customization and the related guidelines (D2.1.1).

Subsequent sessions addressed the definition of a common framework for EMS customization (Activity 2.1), where collected inputs were reviewed and next steps were outlined. The conversation then shifted to Activity 2.2, examining the scope of the customization process and fostering a shared understanding among partners regarding the implementation of EMS support packages.

The afternoon session featured discussions on strategic planning for the REDU-CE-D Conference, including its scope, organizational details, and initial proposals. A memorandum of understanding was also presented, emphasizing the project’s long-term impact.

Financial monitoring and reporting were key topics, covering project performance, financial eligibility, and upcoming reporting requirements. Partners also reviewed communication strategies, ongoing dissemination activities, and possible synergies with other projects to enhance outreach and impact.

The meeting concluded with a Q&A session, a Steering Committee discussion, and the scheduling of the next Transnational Project Meeting, which will take place in Krakow in October 2025. Additionally, bilateral meetings were held to address budgetary, administrative, and reporting matters.

The event reinforced the project’s commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions in the transportation sector, strengthening collaboration among partners, and ensuring smooth implementation of upcoming activities.
