The ReCo project ends on 28 February 2026. ReCo’s three-year restoration and cooperation activities successfully bridged international borders, bringing people and expertise from different nations together.
The project partners look back on six successful pilot actions, nine peer review visits, 31 lasting restoration measures, the creation of six Restoration Guides, two Practicioners’ Guides, a Transnational Strategy for the European Green Belt as well as a multitude of workshops and meetings with local deciders and stakeholders, a wealth of public events – and much more. ReCo has contributed to various EU strategies and directives and enhanced communication and cooperation across borders.
The 11 ReCo project partners will be available for any inquiries about ReCo also after the project has ended, and many of the documents produced are available from the Media section of this website.
