Project CONE
Climate change is fast becoming an unpleasant reality. Although climate change has a negative impact on human health and the environment, awareness of climate risks among Europeans is still very low. To change this, all generations of Europeans need to be targeted and actively involved.
The CONE project helps city officials work effectively with the public to create green cities. Project partners design and test new participatory and digitally-driven processes that support the application of nature-based solutions in five urban pilot areas. Lessons from these pilot urban living labs are evaluated and utilized for a new green city planning strategy.
