The pilot phase of DigiCare4CE has explored how digital transformation can support care facilities in Central Europe.
Partners tested a wide range of innovations – from smart sensors and virtual reality tools to interactive mirrors and digital documentation systems.
These technologies proved that they can reduce paperwork, improve safety and bring more time for direct care. Feedback from care staff and managers shows that technology, when combined with good training and support, makes daily work easier and more effective. The pilots also highlighted that a successful digital transition depends on involving people and building digital skills, not only on technology.
With these experiences, DigiCare4CE is now ready to move towards broader use of smart solutions in long-term care.
