The Youth4Agri project has officially started, bringing together the experience and results of four previous initiatives to help young people develop the skills needed for the green and digital transition of agriculture. Implemented under the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE Programme, the project builds on the achievements of previous European cooperation initiatives, turning them into new educational and professional opportunities for young people across Central Europe.
Youth4Agri builds on the results of four projects: AGRI-DIGITAL-GROWTH, AGROTUR+, TASK4ISI and D-EFFECT. By combining existing knowledge, tools and good practices, the partners aim to increase the reach and long-term impact of these results and support their application in other countries and communities. This approach, based on the capitalisation of project results, makes it possible to further develop proven solutions and adapt them to emerging needs and challenges.
This cooperation is particularly important for Central Europe, where rural areas face similar challenges related to climate change, the increasing digitalisation of agriculture, the need to foster entrepreneurship and the involvement of younger generations in local development. Bringing together the experience of partners from different countries will facilitate knowledge exchange and the development of solutions that can be applied across the region.
Youth4Agri focuses on four key areas: agriculture, the green and digital transition, entrepreneurship and climate change. As part of the project, partners will develop transnational training programmes, online courses and activities supporting youth entrepreneurship, including coaching and mentoring. Another important element will be the Youth4Agri Forum, providing a platform for knowledge exchange, international cooperation and the active involvement of young people in shaping the future of agriculture.
By capitalising on the results of four previous initiatives, Youth4Agri aims to expand educational and professional opportunities for young people, foster entrepreneurship and strengthen transnational cooperation. The project demonstrates how the achievements of previous European cooperation initiatives can be further developed and applied on a broader scale, contributing to more innovative and sustainable rural development across Central Europe.
