The meeting was organised by one of the project partners – ANCI Liguria, the association of municipalities of the Liguria region. The meeting focused on discussing current results of the project and developing a plan of action for the coming months. Moreover, the action plans for the pilot activities implemented in the project were discussed in detail. The pilots will be implemented in five regions of Central Europe:
- South Warmia region, Poland
- Liguria region, Italy
- Hajdú – Bihar region, Hungary
- Pomuria region, Slovenia
- Istria region, Croatia
The partners presented their ideas for putting the smart village concept into practice, ranging from supporting entrepreneurship, involving young people to improving the distribution of local products and developinf an approach to reduce food loss and waste. Also we discussed the second Work Package which will be implemented starting in April.
