The City of Słupsk, partner of the GINEVRA project, hosted the “Mobility Talks” event, bringing together over 40 participants and 10 expert guests to explore the future of public transport in the region. Held at the city’s transport hub, the discussions focused on technological and ecological challenges, investment strategies, and the potential integration of autonomous vehicles into the local bus fleet. Representatives from institutions such as Jagiellonian University, Gdańsk University of Technology, and Słupsk City authorities shared their perspectives on tackling critical mobility issues, including driver shortages, fragmented transport networks, and the coordination of urban, local, and regional services. The event emphasized the importance of modernizing public transport infrastructure, while also introducing forward-looking solutions like autonomous buses. Mobility Talks reinforced the city’s commitment to transforming public transport and improving accessibility, sustainability, and efficiency for all users.
