Let’s start our journey in Hungary. EMFIE specializes in the practical implementation of responsible innovation, focusing on communicating and developing various innovations, with particular emphasis on urban development and sustainable urban mobility. As the idea owner, developer, and implementer of the RegioStars Awardwinning CityWalk project, EMFIE has significant experience in delivering high-quality EU projects.
Having served as WP leader in several previous projects, EMFIE ensures all activities are precisely planned and executed, with strict adherence to deadlines. As a Communication WP leader in several previous projects, EMFIE played a key role in crafting engaging, easy-to-understand project content that reached wide audiences and target groups.
EMFIE’s communication work is characterized by innovative and visually appealing content, as well as effective, targeted dissemination with high reach rates. In our previous projects, EMFIE played a key role in making complex project content accessible and engaging for both the general public and target groups. Over the course of our work, we created more than 100 videos, animations, and infographics, reaching over 250,000 people through hundreds of social media posts. Our most popular transnational cooperation project-related Facebook post reached 56,300 people. Our approach views communication activities as horizontal, integral to project implementation, and essential for achieving project objectives.
Specific to BLUETWIN-CE, EMFIE has a dual role in the project. On the one hand, EMFIE acts as a knowledge provider in the development of the project’s governance framework, contributing both scientific and practical expertise related to governance innovation, stakeholder engagement, communication-supported behavioural change, and transnational cooperation. Currently, intensive activities are ongoing within WP1 under EMFIE’s leadership, focusing on the development of the Transnational Blue Zone Governance Strategy and the related governance framework. EMFIE brings extensive experience from several Interreg projects involving governance model development, participatory approaches, and strategic coordination.
On the other hand, EMFIE serves as the communication leader of the project and is responsible for coordinating project-level communication and dissemination activities. In this role, EMFIE implements a new-generation communication approach designed to maximize reach, increase engagement, and support the technical pilots through strategic campaigning activities. The communication approach combines visually engaging digital content, storytelling, videos, infographics, and community-focused communication methods. A particularly important aspect of the communication strategy is the strong involvement of project partners in local-level communication activities conducted in national languages and tailored to local target groups and stakeholder needs.
As communication leader, EMFIE also supports partners through communication planning, campaign development, template creation, workshop facilitation, and coordination of project visibility activities in line with Interreg Central Europe requirements.
