Help Us Turn Ideas into Action: Support Circular Design for Electronics

Date: 26.06.2025
As part of the WEEE Design pilot action within the Circular WEEEP project, we are collecting valuable insights to shape practical solutions for the reuse, repair, and open data access of electrical and electronic equipment (EEE). Your voice matters.

The Circular WEEEP project unites 12 partner organizations from 7 countries and 10 regions, all working together to advance circular policies for EEE. While sustainable product design remains a long-term goal, this current phase is focused on immediate, actionable steps:

Supporting reuse

Enabling repair

Expanding access to open technical data

These are critical to reducing e-waste and extending the lifespan of electronic products.

One of the biggest challenges to circularity is the difficulty and high cost of dismantling products, as well as the lack of transparent technical information for repair and reuse. Our goal is to remove these barriers and empower both professionals and consumers with the tools and knowledge they need to give electronics a second life.

Your feedback can drive change. Please take a few minutes to complete the questionnaire that best applies to you:

For EEE producers and manufacturers:

For all other stakeholders (consumers, repairers, public authorities, etc.):

Estimated time: 10 minutes

Your input will directly inform our work in developing tools and policies that make circular design not just a concept, but a reality.
