The GreenPATH project partners convened in Osijek for their 4th Steering Committee meeting, hosted by the City of Osijek. The two-day gathering brought together experts, project partners, and local representatives from across Central Europe to advance the shared mission of promoting healthier, greener, and more sustainable urban commuting.

Throughout the event, partners reviewed the project’s progress, exchanged experiences, and coordinated next steps toward helping cities and regions design innovative solutions for sustainable mobility. Discussions focused on supporting a shift towards more environmentally friendly commuting choices and ensuring that the benefits of these initiatives reach citizens across Central Europe.

Collaborative Innovation in Action

A key highlight of the meeting was the co-design and peer review workshop, which provided an open space for sharing best practices, lessons learned, and creative approaches from pilot activities currently underway. As GreenPATH reaches the midpoint of its implementation, the workshop proved both inspiring and productive — generating new ideas and strengthening cooperation among the diverse cities and organizations involved.

Building Momentum for the Next Phase

In addition to technical discussions, participants worked on improving project communication strategies and preparing for the upcoming phases of GreenPATH. A shared priority was ensuring that the knowledge and tools developed so far can effectively support local communities, employers, and policy makers in fostering sustainable commuting habits.

A Path Towards Cleaner and More Connected Cities

The Osijek meeting once again underscored how European collaboration can lead to practical, impactful solutions for cleaner, more connected, and more liveable urban areas. By combining expertise, innovation, and local engagement, GreenPATH continues to pave the way for a healthier and more sustainable future in Central Europe.
