GREENPACT – what’s happening next?

The third year of the GREENPACT project is well on its way – a great moment to reflect on what we’ve achieved and share what’s still to come. Since the beginning, nine partners from five European regions have been working together to embed sustainability into the tourism and creative industries. With the help of dedicated experts and the passion of young people, we’ve built strong networks and created space for real change.

Throughout the project, we’ve connected a lot of enterprises and young people through two rounds of our so-called Collaboration Labs and Buddy Boosting Training Programs. These have been the heart of our approach – bringing together different perspectives, encouraging creative thinking, and supporting hands-on collaboration. The training programmes, each lasting several weeks, offered participants the possibility to explore key topics like sustainability, the circular economy, and innovation through workshops and interactive sessions.

But the journey doesn’t end here. One of the main outcomes of this final year will be the launch of our Self-Assessment Tool – a practical resource for companies in the tourism and creative sectors. It helps evaluate existing strategies and operations through a sustainability lens and leads to a certification. It’s designed to be both accessible and actionable, no matter the size or type of organisation.

We’ll officially present the tool – along with the key project results – during our Final Conference at the end of November, which will take place as part of the International Week at Stuttgart Media University. In the coming weeks, we’ll also be sharing insights into regional actions and giving you a closer look at the tool’s development.

If you’d like to stay informed or be among the first to try the Self-Assessment Tool, just send us a private message with your email address. We’d love to keep you in the loop!
