What does it take for another municipality to replicate what Green LaMiS has tested in Bergamo, Szombathely and Klis? The project’s Pilot Action Guidelines (Deliverable D.2.1.1) answer with a practical, ten-step roadmap that any local authority or social enterprise can follow from scratch.
The steps move from mapping and selecting the services best suited to a pilot, to collecting baseline data with the common carbon footprint tool, appointing a Mobility Manager, choosing the right vehicle solution, formalising agreements with providers and suppliers, monitoring results quarterly, evaluating progress with the project’s innovation indicators, engaging stakeholders at every stage, planning for long-term economic sustainability, and finally feeding results into wider capitalisation — from collaboration agreements to policy recommendations.
Built directly on the experience of the three pilot cities, the guidelines turn Green LaMiS’s hands-on learning into a resource that other municipalities across Europe can use to start their own journey toward greener home care mobility, without having to learn every lesson the hard way.
