On 5 November 2026 the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE annual conference brings together the programme’s projects and institutions in Vienna. Green LaMiS takes part with Lucia Coletti of Fondazione Politecnico di Milano, the lead partner, who attends with a clear aim: to bring the experience of Green LaMiS to the conference and to help spread its legacy through cooperation between projects.
The conference comes two weeks after our final event, “Moving with Care”, held in Bergamo on 22 October. Over thirty months, nine partners from Italy, Croatia, Hungary and Germany built a common method to measure the carbon footprint of home-delivered social services. They tested it with six electric vehicles in Bergamo, Klis and Szombathely, and turned the experience into tools other municipalities and social cooperatives can use: a toolkit, policy recommendations and a decalogue of lessons learned.
Green LaMiS ends on 30 November 2026, but its results are meant to keep working. Exchanging with other projects is one way to make this happen: methods, tools and lessons that are shared can be adapted, tested elsewhere and improved. In Bergamo the partners and the cities signed the Manifesto for green and human mobility in care services, a commitment to keep measuring, sharing and improving. The Manifesto remains open to new signatories.
