REUSE2030 has developed two practical digital tools to help mechanical and manufacturing companies address these questions: the Digital Circular Inventory (DCI) and the Zero Carbon Tool (ZCT).
The Digital Circular Inventory helps companies explore circular economy solutions related to different types of production waste. Users can search for relevant approaches, discover practical examples and access resources designed to support the transition towards more circular production.
The Zero Carbon Tool helps companies understand the environmental impact associated with their products and explore how choices concerning materials, product design and production can influence that impact. It provides an accessible way for companies, including those with limited previous experience with environmental assessment, to start considering sustainability in their decision-making.
Both tools have been tested with companies across Central Europe, whose feedback contributed to their further improvement and helped the project partnership better understand the practical needs of their users.
