Carpathian Civil Society Platform International Conference

Date: 07.03.2024

The Carpathian Civil Society Platform International Conference was successfully held in Eger, Hungary between 28.02.2024 and 01.03.2024. The main objective of the event was to strengthen the civil cooperation platform between five countries of the region (Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Ukraine).

The event was opened by Trine Skymoen, Ambassador of Norway to Hungary and attended by leading NGOs from the region, as well as representatives of national and international organisations – nearly 80 participants.

The conference presented a number of good practices in the field of civic engagement, youth participation and cross-border cooperation. Participants inspired by each other and it was great to see so many Ukrainian, Polish, Romanian, Slovak and Hungarian NGOs actively involved in shaping the future of the platform.

The second day of the conference was the time to discuss the future and sustainability of the Platform and worked on the details of our future cooperation.
