The partnership first discussed the preparation of the first Joint Finance Report (JFR1). The reporting process is progressing, with several partners already having received their First Level Control certificates, and the timely submission of JFR1 is currently on track.
A major focus of the meeting was Activity 1.3 – Capacity Building. Partners discussed the implementation guidelines, Capacity Needs Assessment methodology and survey tool, GDPR and consent requirements, as well as the methodology for developing the joint training curriculum. The responsibilities for preparing the five thematic training modules were also clarified, covering Natural Movement, Healthy Diet, Stress Reduction, and further Blue Zone-related topics. The Health Promotion Centre Murska Sobota will provide additional professional input through the Lead Partner.
The partnership also reviewed progress under Activity 1.4 – Data Collection and Digital Twin Development. Updates included the current status of the Beltinci pilot, the introduction of the EQ-5D-5L health-related quality-of-life instrument in the Slovak and Italian pilot areas, the development of common data-entry standards, and preparations for the upcoming Digital Twin deliverables.
Finally, attention turned to our next face-to-face project meeting in Beltinci in December. The Lead Partner presented the preliminary programme as well as travel and accommodation options. The Slovenian local capacity-building workshop and the transnational live validation will be organised as separate sessions, while the Slovak and Italian local workshops are planned for November.
Another productive meeting behind us — and an intensive autumn ahead as BLUETWIN-CE moves from planning and methodological development increasingly towards capacity building, data collection and Digital Twin implementation. 💙
