ACCESSMILE labelled by EUSALP Action Group 4 and presented at the EUSALP Mobility Conference

Date: 23.12.2025

The ACCESSMILE project has officially been labelled by Action Group 4 (Mobility) of the EU Strategy for the Alpine Region (EUSALP), recognising its strong contribution to improving intermodality and accessibility of last-mile connections between rural and peripheral areas and the main TEN-T nodes in Central Europe.

The labelling is formalised through a Letter of Recommendation issued by EUSALP AG4 on 18 December 2025, confirming that ACCESSMILE effectively contributes to the objectives of the Alpine macro-regional strategy and recommending its support and further uptake.

This important recognition follows the presentation of ACCESSMILE at the EUSALP Mobility Conference, held in Innsbruck on 27 November 2025, where the project was showcased as a concrete example of how digital solutions and coordinated governance approaches can enhance last-mile accessibility and strengthen links between peripheral territories and the core European transport network. On that occasion, ACCESSMILE was presented through a dedicated poster, illustrating the project’s geographical coverage, challenges addressed and key solutions under development.

The EUSALP label further reinforces the strategic relevance of ACCESSMILE beyond the Interreg Central Europe framework, positioning it within a wider macro-regional policy context and supporting the long-term uptake and transferability of its results across the Alpine Region and beyond.
