Over the past six months, our partnership has achieved remarkable progress:
✅ The Transnational Blue Zone Governance Network has been successfully established, already bringing together 41 members from 21 organisations across four countries, significantly exceeding our initial targets.
✅ We completed the Governance Structure Assessment Report and, under EMFIE’s leadership, jointly developed and validated the Transnational Blue Zone Governance Strategy through two participatory workshops involving partners and stakeholders.
✅ We also prepared the ground for the Digital Twin by implementing the internationally validated EQ-5D-5L health-related quality of life instrument in four languages.
But this is only the beginning!
As we move into Period 2, our focus shifts to:
🔹 capacity building for local stakeholders,
🔹 continued development of the Digital Twin,
🔹 data collection in the three pilot areas,
🔹 and preparing community engagement activities that will bring the project closer to citizens.
