Yesterday, the 3rd Freight Quality Partnership meeting took place in Maribor within the GRETA project, bringing together stakeholders and media representatives to present the pilot microhub for sustainable urban deliveries in the city centre.
The newly introduced microhub represents an important step towards more efficient urban logistics, enabling consolidation of goods and zero-emission deliveries, while supporting local businesses. The solution was very well received by participants, as it provides businesses in the pedestrian zone with a much-needed alternative for carrying out deliveries beyond official delivery time windows.
The meeting also provided a platform for open discussion, where participants shared their insights, experiences, and suggestions for the further development of sustainable urban logistics in Maribor.
