With rising temperatures arriving early in May, the city of Hajdúböszörmény is taking action to prepare residents for the summer heat and promote smart, green solutions.
📱 Urban Heat App Now Available
A QR code for downloading the city’s Urban Heat Indicator app has been published on the city’s website, Facebook page, and in the local newspaper. The app helps residents stay informed about urban heat conditions and prepare accordingly.
🎥 Local TV to Feature City’s Heat Health Action Plan (HHAP)
An interview discussing the city’s Heat Health Action Plan (HHAP) will be recorded on May 13 at 3:00 p.m. The interview will later be available on the local TV station’s YouTube channel. The link will be shared soon.
🌿 Public Event: “Get Ready for Heat – Smart and Green”
Also on May 13 at 5:00 p.m., the city is hosting a public presentation on urban greening and green architecture. The event will feature a landscape and garden architect, along with Csaba Lajtmann, and will take place at the municipal building.
