Within the framework of the URBIO BAUHAUS program, our city received a grant to increase biological diversity which will be used for the development of the Climate Park.
Why is biodiversity so important?
One of the biggest challenges of the climate crisis is protecting urban ecosystems. The richer an area is in its flora and fauna, the more resilient it is to the impacts of climate change – and the better our quality of life!
We involved the public and local experts in the planning process, as our goal is to make the Climate Park an attractive and useful community space for all residents of Érd. The first community work called #BIOCENTUM node took place on 4th of March.
