In this workshop, we will share the results of the TRANSGEO well assessment for the North German and Molasse Basins, to highlight the existing wells that may be reused for new geothermal energy.
We also will hear from 3 invited keynote speakers on their experiences and guidance on reusing wells, so that we may together accelerate geothermal development and the energy transition. We will also demonstrate the TRANSGEO online well assessment tool, which identifies reusable wells from our new database of over 9,000 wells in Central Europe.
