Workshop: Reducing Food Waste by 30% by 2030 in School and Kindergarten Catering

The workshop will present new findings on food waste in schools and kindergartens in Vienna and Lower Austria and provide an opportunity to discuss and further develop planned measures – particularly in the areas of portion sizes and redistribution of surplus food.

As the active involvement of all relevant stakeholders is a key priority, the event is designed as an in-person meeting to foster exchange and collaboration. However, a hybrid participation option will be available for those travelling from further away.
