30 Interreg projects, one shared goal: accelerating the energy transition! ⚡

On 22 October, our partner Sebastian Bykuć from KEZO Research Centre PAS / IMP PAN presented V4Grid at the Interreg thematic workshop on the energy transition, hosted by the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy in Warsaw.

🚗🔌 Can electric vehicles become more than just a means of transport?

That’s the question driving V4Grid. Within the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE Programme, our 11 partners from Poland, Slovakia, Czechia and Hungary are exploring how EV batteries can support homes, buildings and the electricity grid through Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) technology.

Together, we are developing and testing bidirectional charging solutions that increase energy flexibility and help integrate more renewable energy.

💡 Our key takeaway from Warsaw: new technologies alone won’t deliver the energy transition. It takes cooperation across sectors, regions and borders to turn research and pilots into real-world solutions.
