As part of the program, participants will take part in a professional field trip to the Lower Kamenjak landscape protection area, where they will gain insight into the conservation and sustainable use of the region’s natural values.
The project partners and stakeholders involved will visit the local Nono Bruno oil mill and a local family farm Šantamarina, where they will learn about traditional and innovative agricultural practices. During the program, two other oil mills operating in the surrounding area will also be presented as examples of good practice, providing examples of high-quality, sustainable olive oil production.
The series of professional visits will conclude with a visit to the Istrian Rural Development Agency and the AZZRI Education and Gastronomy Center in Pazin, where participants will gain a comprehensive overview of the region’s rural development, training, and gastronomic initiatives.
The event contributed to the exchange of experiences, the strengthening of partnerships and the sharing of sustainable rural development solutions at an international level.
