On the 20th of February 2025, as part of the SYMCRAFT project, West-Pannon Nonprofit Ltd. successfully organized a local workshop in Nemesvámos, Hungary. The event aimed to bring together actors from the industrial and handicraft sectors to foster the cooperation between them. The 32 participants, who came dominantly from the agrifood sector, listened presentations about the SYMCRAFT project; the most important legal questions regarding the management of industrial waste/by-products; and successful marketing techniques. After the presentations, everyone could share their thoughts and experiences regarding the topics in form of an open discussion. Particular attention was paid to the challenges that make the cooperation difficult, but also the possibilities. The event was useful for both the participants and the organizer, the valuable information gathered will help the further activities of the SYMCRAFT project.
