On June 14, 2026, the annual Leipzig Eco-Festival took center stage as the grand finale of the Leipzig Environmental Days. Organized by the environmental association Ökolöwe e.V., this major consumer fair serves as Central Germany’s premier hub for discovering green ideas, organic products, and regional conservation efforts.
The SYMCRAFT project was right in the middle of the action. Project partner Environmental Institute Leipzig e.V. hosted a dedicated information booth that brought the circular economy to life. Visitors had the chance to explore tangible project results, discuss innovative recycling ideas, and see firsthand how industrial residual materials are being creatively repurposed for the handicraft sector.
