Soil, Carbon, Value – Agriculture Facing Climate, Social, and Technological Challenges without borders

Hybrid
Location: Puławy, Poland
Date: 29.05.2025 - 30.05.2025
On May 29–30, 2025, Puławy, Poland will host a unique event dedicated to farmers, agricultural advisors, agri-entrepreneurs, and industry organizations. Organised under the Carbon Farming CE project, financed by Interreg Central Europe, this gathering addresses one of the most pressing issues in modern agriculture – the need to adapt to climate change and implement regenerative, future-oriented solutions. The event is held under the honorary patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Republic of Poland.

Under the theme “Soil, Carbon, Value”, participants will explore the latest technologies, strategies, and practical approaches to regenerative and carbon farming. This is not just a theoretical discussion – it’s a showcase of real tools and practices that can turn agriculture into a key player in climate action. The event will feature demonstrations of autonomous field robots, simplified cultivation systems, organic fertilization testing, greenhouse gas emission monitoring, and the use of satellite data for land management. Special attention will be given to carbon sequestration, agroforestry systems, and bioeconomy applications that support farm sustainability and resilience.

Organized by the Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation – State Research Institute (IUNG-PIB) in Puławy, this is a rare opportunity to gain insights into what carbon farming really means, how to apply it in practice, and what tangible environmental and economic benefits it offers. The event will bring together practitioners, experts, and policymakers from Poland and abroad.

📺 And for those unable to attend in person – good news! The lecture part of the event will be streamed live online, giving participants across Poland and abroad the chance to join from anywhere.

🗣️ Please note: selected presentations will be delivered in English. The practical part of the event in the experimental field will not be transmitted.

👉 Don’t miss your chance – in-person seats are limited, but the live stream ensures everyone can take part in shaping the future of agriculture.
