Roll-Out Event in Hungary

In Person
Location: Győr, Hungary
Date: 25.11.2025
By: VReduMED
The event aimed to present the project’s key results to Hungarian stakeholders and to support the transfer and wider uptake of virtual reality solutions in healthcare education and training.

Participants were introduced to the objectives, activities, and main achievements of the VReduMED Interreg Central Europe project. Particular attention was given to the Hungarian VR application developed within the project, the “VRoom of Horror”, which was designed to support the practical training of healthcare professionals in a safe and immersive learning environment.

During the demonstration and VR Lab visit, participants had the opportunity to test the application and explore its possible use in healthcare education. The session provided a practical example of how VR-based training could complement traditional teaching methods, strengthen experiential learning, and support the development of professional competences. After the session, the participants provided their feedback through a questionnaire, which was part of Pilot action no. 3.

The event also created space for discussion, questions, and networking among project partners, educators, healthcare professionals, and other relevant stakeholders. These exchanges helped identify opportunities for future application, transfer, and adaptation of the developed solution beyond the project partnership. As with other similar project events, it provided valuable insights, on which one of the project results – project concepts – was based.

By presenting a concrete project result to a wider professional audience, the roll-out event contributed to the dissemination and capitalization of VReduMED outcomes. It strengthened stakeholder engagement, increased awareness of immersive learning technologies, and supported the project’s objective of fostering the adoption and transferability of innovative VR-based approaches in healthcare education.
