Katja Makovšek, representative of the National Institute of Chemistry (NIC, PP2), participated in the 8th International Conference on Technologies & Business Models for Circular Economy (TBMCE 2025) and presented the outputs developed within the framework of the TeBiCE project, opportunities for unlocking the corn cob utilization for biorefinery valorisation,. The contribution, in the form of poster entitled “Unlocking the potential of corn cobs biomass for biorefinery valorization” was presented in the poster section of the TBMCE 2025 conference. Furthermore, dr. Katja Makovšek also as a panelist at the panel entitled “Bio-Innovations: What Do We Need for Faster Commercialisation?”, where she shared her experience from her scientific research and work on the TeBiCE project.
