As part of the Interreg Central Europe LOCALIENCE project, international partners will soon visit Vas County to exchange experiences and strengthen cross-border cooperation in the field of disaster management. During the visit, participants will be introduced to the structure and operations of the local disaster management system, including fire protection, industrial safety, and civil protection practices.
The program will include site visits to key facilities, presentations on recent emergency response efforts, and demonstrations of tools developed within the project, such as the Extreme Weather Catalogue and a new mobile application. The event will also provide an opportunity for professional dialogue between Hungarian and international experts, aiming to enhance regional preparedness and resilience against extreme weather events and other risks.
