EFOS presented the organisational tasks and methodology for the Hackathon, scheduled for 5 November. Individuals and teams will develop new business ideas using design thinking and the Business Model Canvas, with mentoring support from project partners.
Business idea questionnaires are due by 15 October. National selection panels will assess the submissions, with three to five ideas per country intended for invitation.
Partners also discussed the Mentor Programme, the Valorisation Strategy and preparations for the project’s knowledge-sharing platform. The afternoon agenda included visits to Papuk UNESCO Global Geopark’s Geo Info Centre and a local entrepreneur, connecting the working sessions with the region’s natural assets and business activities.
