The 22nd European Roundtable on Sustainable Consumption and Production (ERSCP 2025) will be hosted for the first time in the Czech Republic, taking place from 15 to 18 September 2025.
Organized by EMPRESS, the conference will focus on “Multi-stakeholder Cooperation on Sustainability: The Role of Business, Academia, Public Sector, and Civil Society in Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP)”.
The event will be held at the Czech University of Life Sciences in the vibrant and historic city of Prague.
As part of the official program, a workshop titled “Advancing Circular Lifestyles in Cities”, organized by BME colleagues on behalf of the NiCE project, will explore how urban areas can foster more sustainable ways of living.
The session will address key questions such as:
- What are effective local and national policies for promoting circular lifestyles in cities?
- Which urban initiatives and business models demonstrate strong potential for broader uptake?
- How can circular offers be made more accessible to all citizens, including marginalized groups?
This workshop aims to contribute to the broader discussion on circular lifestyles by sharing experiences and actionable insights from urban and regional projects. Information: https://www.erscp2025.eu/
