Join us for an online seminar focused on building community around multifunctional resource centres.

This session will explore how local projects in Brzeg Dolny (Poland) and Ptuj (Slovenia) are turning unused spaces into active centres that support circular economy through community involvement, reuse activities and social innovation.

Multifunctional resource centres play an important role in the circular economy. They bring people together, raise awareness and provide practical tools for reusing, repairing and reducing waste. These centres are not just about sustainability, they also support social inclusion, job creation and new forms of collaboration between citizens, municipalities and businesses.

The first presentation by Katarzyna Korczak will focus on how circular economy solutions can be turned into practical strategies for cities and communities. She will share examples from European projects that support circular lifestyles and local change.

The second presentation by Marinka Vovk will show how the CPU centre has become a leader in connecting sustainability with social innovation. Her talk will highlight ways to build strong community-based initiatives that help both people and the environment.

The session will be moderated by Zuzana Špuntová from Cyrkl and will include an interactive Q&A session for participants.
