On June 4th, the Port System Authority of the Eastern Ligurian Sea will host the Multimodal Activities Workshop at the upcoming Transport Logistics Fair in Munich, one of the leading trade events for the global logistics and transportation industry. The workshop will take place at Halle B2, Stand 317-418 and is jointly organised by ACCESSMILE, MERIDIAN and MILEPORT projects.
The event will gather key stakeholders from across Italy’s port and logistics sectors to explore the digital transformation of multimodal transport systems. It will feature a series of presentations and panels focused on innovation in truck monitoring, sustainable logistics, and digital integration across transport modes.
The workshop will be divided in two sessions:
Panel 1 – Truck Monitoring Systems and Integration with Other Transport Modes will include case studies and pilot implementations from several Italian ports.
After a coffee break, Panel 2 – Environmental Benefits of Digitalization Applied to the Logistics Supply Chain will address sustainable innovation.
This event promises to be a significant platform for showcasing forward-thinking approaches to integrated and sustainable logistics, bringing together port authorities, transport operators, and technology providers.
